Halifax Health Medical Center Stay Close Family Quarters offers convenient and affordable overnight accommodations to patient family members who are unable to find or afford other temporary lodging. Having family members close by helps restore a sense of calm to patients dealing with the stress of serious illness or injury.

Guests stay in a private room outfitted with twin beds, a television, telephone, small refrigerator, bed linens and bath towels. Guests will receive an identification badge, room key, and important informational material upon check-in. Stay Close guests receive discounted Cafeteria pricing with their ID badge.

A nominal $20 per night donation (cash or check made payable to the Halifax Health Medical Center Auxiliary, Inc.) and $10 refundable key deposit help cover a portion of the operating costs of this community service.
