support services in the community. Professional staff, with the help of over 300 volunteers, care for hundreds of patients each each year. One of the first hospice organizations to be established in the United
States, Hospice of Volusia/Flagler offers the most comprehensive hospice program available in the area, including a 16-bed Hospice Residential Care Center. Grief counseling is available for anyone who has
experienced a loss and the BeginAgain Children’s Grief Centers offers special children’s bereavement programs. Hospice of Volusia/Flagler services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial
insurance.
