Spinal Cord Injury
Support Group
The Neuroscience Center offers a self-help group for spinal cord injury patients. The group
meets on the third Friday of each month, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., in the third floor conference room of the 201 Building, 201 N. Clyde Morris Blvd, on the Halifax Medical Center main campus in Daytona Beach.
Facilitated by Halifax Neuroscience Center Medical Director Carolyn Geis, MD, and Candy Clevenger, RN, the group isto people who have had a spinal cord injury, as well as their family members. Meetings
include discussions of new technology, current research and injury prevention, along with social time to allow participants to meet and talk with others who might be going through similar circumstances. For
