Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Services
Health Information
Outpatient Services, Inpatient Services and a Partial
Hospitalization Program are all components of Child & Adolescent Services that are available through Halifax Behavioral Services. Outpatient Services include individual, family or group therapy, play therapy and
parenting classes. Inpatient Services can be essential to the care and recovery of young people, through voluntary admission or Baker Act reception. Services include individual, family or group therapy. A safe
environment in a secure unit provides 24-hour medical care, seven-day-a-week programming and separate tracks for children and adolescents. The Partial Hospitalization Program offers day treatment in a caring
environment, under the supervision of a child and adolescent psychiatrist. Participants are provided educational classes from K-12, individual and family therapy and daily group therapy. Call Halifax Behavioral
Services at 386-274-5333 to arrange a no-obligation discussion of your needs or concerns with a caring professional.
