ACT is an educational and support program for asthmatic children ages 6 to
12 and their parents. ACT helps to increase the
child's decision-making skills and self-management behaviors. The child learns about the causes, symptoms, and treatment of asthma, as well as skills to prevent asthma attacks. For information call Halifax Medical Center's Pulmonary Rehab Department at 386-947-4644.
