Calendar Search Tips...
To search for an event you must decide what keywords and types of information
you wish to find. For instance, let's suppose you want to look for Diabetes
Classes in the DeLand area. The keyword you will want to use is
"Diabetes" since
"Classes" may return results for other types of classes not associated
to Diabetes. You will also want to use the word "DeLand"
in your search. Since you only want this criteria to be matched, you will want to
check the "And" radio button to the right of the search window as shown in the picture below...

You may also want to refine your search by asking for more matches. You do
this by adding more information into the text boxes you will to use and check
the appropriate button next to each word.
For instance if you wanted to look up Diabetes Classes in the month of April in
DeLand it would be done like this...
Event Name: Diabetes <And>
Date: 04/
<And>
Location: DeLand
<And>
Or, how about Diabetes Classes in DeLand <OR> anytime in July...
Event Name: Diabetes <And>
Date: 07/
<Or>
Location: DeLand
<And>
Give it a try. You can't hurt anything by trying different choices. You can
always search from the same page again. Keep in mind, the more information you
use in your search criteria assists in targeting specific records. Results may
vary depending on what you use as keywords.
DID YOU KNOW: These types of simple searches
are known as Boolean Searches. Some internet based search engines allow you to
use Boolean searches similar to this Web application.
