Family Medicine Residency Program

Halifax Health is proud of our history of providing quality, highly-trained physicians to the communities we serve through the Family Medicine Residency Program, the oldest established community based family medicine residency program in the state of Florida.

The program is nationally recognized for excellence in Family Medicine graduate education and prides itself on innovation and community service. Residents are provided with coordinated, increasing ambulatory care responsibility as well as the realistic experience required of family physicians. The program has a special focus on ambulatory care and community medicine, emphasizing the critical roles played by primary care physicians.
