Halifax Community Health System (HCHS) serves Volusia and Flagler counties and offers a continuum of care through affiliated organizations, each emphasizing a focus on the individual health care
consumer, and the quality services available for a that consumer.
The HCHS Board is identical to that of the Halifax Hospital Medical Center District, appointed by the Governor to direct operations of Halifax Medical Center and assure care for all residents of the District. The individual entities comprising HCHS are: Halifax Medical Center, Florida Health Care Plans, Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, Volusia Health Network, Healthy Communities, Patient Business and Financial Services and Halifax Medical Center Foundation.
